The MusicMaster Export Designer Create your own exports from MusicMaster to third-party software.
It's your data, so our Export Designer can be used to export any field in your data. We have multiple design pages that allow you to configure how that information will look. Whether you need to export to your automation system or wish to export your library, you have complete control over how that file will look. You can use as few or as many of these options as you need. With our vast experience, we have exports pre-designed for dozens of systems ready for your use.
Design Pages
Design Pages lists the types of pages available for configuration. These include the following:
- Song – This line exports any song card field
- Break – This line exports lognote information
- Spot - If you are importing traffic spots, this line exports them
- Traffic Merge – This exports the traffic merge points
- File Header/Footer – Use these lines to export information at the top and bottom of each file
- Day Header/Footer - Use these lines to export information at the beginning and ending of each day
- Hour Header/Footer – Use these lines to export information at the top and bottom of each hour
- Hour Footer – This is the information that will appear at the bottom of each hour
Design Properties
Along with the ability to export information in any way you'd like, our Export Designer also gives you other properties you can control:
- Breaktext - Options here include the ability to only export certain types of breaktext to export to configuring Virtual Breaks (see Features)
- Destination - Hard-code the filename pattern and path with options here. You can even prevent anyone from changing these options to ensure the files get where they need to go in the correct format.
- Misc - Unusual options here include the ability to time-shift the export file (useful for network options) and preventing certain hours from being included in the export file.
- Songs - Even Songs have subcategories, and this is where you can restrict categories for export, export the marked songs or fill songs.
